Trunk or Treat – October 23rd, 2026

  • Haycock Township is hosting a Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 23rd. The community is invited to participate with Trunks and Treats. The Township will be providing food and crafts.

The Haycock Township Office is open from 9AM to 2PM Monday through Thursday.

PPL is requests

PPL is approaching residents requesting that they sign documents allowing them to spray herbicides or permit them to cut back trees and foliage in some cases up to 80 feet. You do not have to sign the document.  If you are concerned, you should seek legal counsel.

Below is a list provided by PPL of herbicide mixes that they are using to spray:

Low volume application (LV2) herbicide:

  • Used to inhibit growth of vegetation
  • Mix: Method 240 SL 50 oz + Polaris 64 oz + Escort XP 4 oz + Aquachem 90 surfactant- 1 gal per 100 gals

Low volume aquatic (LVA) herbicide:

  • Used to inhibit vegetation growth for vegetation that is within 30 ft. of a waterway or wetlands.
  • Mix: 4 gal Aquaneat/Aquamaster + 64 fl oz Polaris per 100 gallons water

Stump Treatment Herbicide (Garlon 4):

  • Used to treat stumps and prevent trees from growing back.
  • Mix: Triclopyr-2-butoxyethyl ester (60.5%), Ethylene glycol monobutyl ether (0.5%).
